School Report Cards have been uploaded for the 2007-2008 school year.
The following guidelines are
recommended for all students at Carlyle Community Unit #1
School
District
to prevent and control flu-like
symptoms:
-
Avoid close contact with people who
are sick.
-
Stay home when you are
sick.
-
Cover your mouth and nose with a
tissue when coughing or sneezing .
-
Wash your hands often to protect you
from germs.
-
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or
mouth; this is a common way germs are spread.
-
Practice other good health habits,
like getting plenty of rest, being active, and eating nutritious
food.
It is important for well children
to be in school and sick children to be at home. Please use the above
guidelines for reference and feel free to call for any questions and/or
concerns. Thank you.

Heidi enjoys listening to music and playing video games. Heidi is currently enrolled in Web Design courses learning FrontPage and DreamWeaver. She has also grasped Flash and this is the application she used to make modificatioins. We appreciate Heidi's work.

Student meals should be paid in advance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc) for the 2008-2009 school year. These payments will be for breakfast and lunch only - pre-payments do not cover Ala-Carte items at the Jr. High School. On-line Cafe Pre-Pay is no longer an option for payment in the 2008-09 school year.
Please write a check payable to Carlyle CUSD #1 and send it to school with your child. Your child should turn their lunch money in to the Cafeteria Staff or the Office in the morning. Your child may bring money to pay for meals on a daily basis, however it is preferred to have their meal account pre-paid. If your child pays daily, they may be asked to step to the end of the line.
Charging meals will NOT be allowed. If you feel that you may qualify for free and/or reduced meals and have not already applied, please contact your student's attendance center office to complete an application.
Questions may be directed to Connie Geoffray, Food Services Director, at 594-7613.
